Start with the project specification

Provide the approved project specification, drawings or bill of quantities and identify the required rock class, grading or individual weight range.

Clarify whether the requirement covers armour, underlayer, core, filter, toe or another function in the marine structure.

المصدر and quarry approval

If the project requires an approved quarry or source, include the approval procedure and any prequalification documents in the RFQ.

المصدر consistency matters because physical characteristics, weathering and test results can vary between quarries and rock faces.

Testing and acceptance

Define the required laboratory tests, inspection regime and acceptance criteria from the project documents.

Agree whether inspection occurs at quarry, stockpile, loading point, destination or a combination of stages.

الكمية وبرنامج التسليم

State total tonnage, call-off sequence, project location and target delivery rate.

Marine projects can be logistics-intensive; the delivery method, staging area and access conditions should be assessed together with the material requirement.

Commercial and logistics basis

Identify whether supply is ex-quarry, delivered to site, FOB, CIF or another agreed basis and name the relevant place or port.

Where barge or vessel delivery is involved, loading arrangements, port capability and discharge assumptions should be defined before final pricing.
