Name the exact product and grade
Different palm-oil fractions and grades serve different commercial uses. The RFQ should identify the exact product, such as RBD palm oil, RBD palm olein CP10, CP8 or CP6, palm stearin or palm-kernel products.
Where the buyer has a technical specification, include the relevant quality parameters rather than relying only on the grade name.
Origin and producer documentation
State any mandatory origin requirement and whether a producer or refinery document set is required.
The commercial offer should identify how quality documentation, origin evidence and inspection will be handled for the specific shipment.
Packing and transport
Specify whether the buyer requires bulk, flexitank, drums or another shipment format where commercially applicable.
The destination, shipment size and handling conditions influence the most practical logistics option.
Quality verification
Agree the contract specification and inspection point before shipment. Quality verification may include product analysis and other documents relevant to the grade and destination.
Do not substitute a generic brochure for shipment-specific commercial and quality documents.
